Chandhok loses HRT seat
HRT are evidently playing the money game. Having dropped Bruno Senna for the British Grand Prix last weekend in place of Sakon Yamamoto it is this time Karun Chandhok's turn to give up his seat for the Japanese driver at next weekends German Grand Prix.
Chandhok has said that he does not know whether he will be back in the car again but expects to compete in some more races before the end of the season. While it is obviously not good for the team to be messing these two young drivers around Yamamoto should bring some extra experience to the team following his previous time in F1 with Super Aguri. It is also believed that the Japanese driver is bringing funding to the team and this seems a likely reason for him to be getting racing time. He was not on the Indian drivers pace in Britain but as it was his second time in the car this can be forgiven. It will be interesting to see how he compares to Senna next weekend.
